Partnership Programme

The Partnership Programme (PP) is a discount programme offered by ACC to large organisations with high employee numbers, a high levy rate, or a combination of the two.  In this programme, the employer takes on all the responsibility of ACC in providing full work injury support to the injured employee.  The support includes co-ordination and liaison with medical and rehabilitation providers to ensure the safe and early return to work.  The support includes the provision all the necessary vocational and social rehabilitation, plus the payment of medical fees and any compensation due to the employee.

The benefit to the employer is that they receive a substantial discount of up to 80% on their ACC workplace levy.  This discount would more than offset all costs of being in the programme and have the additional benefit of the employer being directly involved with managing their employee's return to work.  The employer is subject to an annual audit by an Approved ACC Auditor.

  • Gap analysis of any existing H&S System vs entry audit requirements
  • Provision of individually customised and documented health and safety system
  • Provision of initial management and staff  training
  • Assistance with arranging the initial audit
  • Ongoing support to meet renewal audit requirements including:
    • additional training
    • documentation reviews and amendments
    • pre-audit reviews
    • advice as required e.g. serious harm accidents
